Promises

In Pirkei Avos 1:15, Shammai Hazaken says, "say little and do much."

Devarim 23:23 says, "if you don't make vows, you won't end up doing sins." (Meaning, you won't end up doing the sin of breaking your vow.)

We learn from this that keeping promises is good, and making promises is bad.
